Born with a rare craniofacial condition, Ben grew up navigating surgeries, setbacks, and moments that could have easily defined his limits. Instead, he chose to define himself.
He went on to become a world champion wrestler, an international speaker, and someone who carries a level of perspective that cuts through noise and pressure.
Earlier this year, Ben visited my Heroes class and challenged student-athletes to set goals and call their shots — to take ownership of who they want to become, not just what they want to achieve. The impact of that conversation is still being felt.
